This December I Have...

....been a bell ringer for the Salvation Army in front of the Apple Market. (please drop something into those red buckets and wish those bell ringers a Merry Christmas!)

....gone to CALM to see the lights.

....hosted a large family event.

....gone to long choir practices which resulted in a glorious concert that honored our Lord and Savior.

....gone shopping in Tulare and elsewhere.

....mourned the loss of a dear friend.

....enjoyed the Christmas production at the Melodrama.

....had good friends into my home for brunch.

....watched SHS basketball games (there are many more of those to come!)

....gone to Bible Study.

....enjoyed some school fog delays.

....wrapped presents.

....been blessed by the Children's Christmas program at our church.

....drunk soothing cups of hot chocolate in front of a warm fire.

....read, read, read. (more on that to come)

....gone to the Womens Ministry's event at church. (a fun evening visiting three homes, hearing good music, a story and devotional and making dry mixes for soup, tea and biscotti)

....gone to the Shafter Women's Club home tour.

It has been a busy month and we have a lot of family celebrations to look forward to at the end of the week. Forunately the next few days are blank on my calendar and I hope to be able to take a breath and enjoy this season, remembering what it is we are all celebrating.... the Birthday of our King!
