Iowa

This year we broke with tradition and spent our New Year's Day traveling to Iowa for Nathan and Adrianne's "wedding". We had a great time with friends and family and enjoyed seeing a part of the country we had never been to. We also had never experienced temperatures like these...well under zero degrees the whole time we were there! Quite a change for this California girl. The snow was white and beautiful, but I was glad to not be out in it for more time than it took to run out to the car!

The wedding was all done in blues and whites with a snowflake theme. perfect for the weather we were experiencing.

DELICIOUS cupcakes. You could chose from chocolate and pumpkin...I had both!
