We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo!

Last week Katie and I traveled by train up to Fresno to visit the Chaffee Zoo. Jill met us at the train station and we enjoyed a perfect day. We had fantastic weather, the zoo was beautiful and the crowds were thin. All day long I had the Peter, Paul and Mary song "Daddy's Taking Us to the Zoo" running through my head. If that doesn't date me nothing will!

At first Henry was clinging tightly to his Mama...

but he soon relaxed and even managed to brush one of the goats in the petting zoo...

This zoo had so much shade and was very lush and green...

Those giraffes had long necks, just ask Henry...

We had such a fun day. I can't wait to do it again with the next Baby Wiebe!
