Recently our small town showed the big cities that they are not the only ones that can have "culture". We had an entire weekend dedicated to the arts and the organizers called it "Colours". There was an art show at the high school gymnasium featuring talented local artists, a comedic musical written and performed by locals, a screening of the award winning film, "Bella" with guest appearances from the star and a producer, dinners and wine tasting, and the highlight for Henry, a parade of lights featuring farm equipment. Our family got in the swing of things by lighting up one of our orchard tractors and Henry got to ride along with Grandpa Bob. Since tractors are one of his favorite things right now, this was a huge treat! As a bonus the fire engine was right behind him, so now when he sees a tractor not only does he make tractor sounds he also makes a siren sound. In his mind they now go hand in hand.

I think that parade is single-handedly responsible for Henry's tractor obsession!
